Leon Pearson,

I have been corresponding with a Very helpful geneologist, fellow researcher, distant relative? Anyway, he has been great about sharing information and I have been able to supply him with some anecdotal information from Cecil's book that he did not have. His website http://www.fewpb.net/~jparks99/index/html
Here is a photo of my father, Leon Pearson, probably in his late teens with Archie S., his sister Gypsy, and two of the Million girls. The Millions, as far as I can tell, and I might be wrong, were distantly related to the Johnsons. Leon, certainly, is a direct descendent of that Thomas Johnson who came to Kentucky in 1812. Remember, the one who floated on the waters?

The horse may have been the one Leon rode to school when he was younger and went, not to Central High, but to the local one room schoolhouse.
